A card site that shows its workings
LoadedTCG exists because UK collectors are badly served by card data. Release dates are American, prices are in dollars, and the pages that claim otherwise are usually guessing.
Who we are
We run an independent games shop inSouth Wales that's been selling trading cards long enough to know which questions people actually ask. LoadedTCG is our answer to the ones we couldn't answer with a shop page.
How we say it, and how sure we are
Every release date on this site carries a badge saying where it came from: confirmed means verified with a UK distributor or the publisher, announced means the publisher has said it but nobody has checked it against UK distribution, and rumoured means exactly that.
Other sites print all three as fact. Being able to tell them apart is most of the value here, so we'd rather show you a hedge than a confident wrong answer.
The same rule applies to everything else. Pull rates, pack counts and mechanics come from a verified source or they don't appear. If we can't stand something up, it isn't on the page — that's why some entries look thinner than you might expect.
Where the prices come from
Card prices are market data converted to sterling at the European Central Bank's published rate. They're a guide, not a valuation, and a converted American price is not the same thing as a UK sale price — there's a full guide to what that number does and doesn't tell you, and every price page carries the short version.
How we make money
Plainly: we don't sell anything on this site. Nothing here is a paid placement, nobody pays to be listed, and no publisher or distributor has any say over what a page says about their product.
That's the whole arrangement. It's why we can afford to tell you a booster box usually loses to the singles — a shop that needed you to believe otherwise couldn't publishthat article.
Tell us we're wrong
A date that's moved, a price that looks daft, a term we've defined badly — we'd genuinely rather know. Email customerservice@loadeddice.uk and say which page. Corrections get made quickly and without fuss.
